The Anandpur Experience (working title) is a new immersive theatre production by playwright Paneet Singh that is currently in the development process. The vision is to transport audiences to the mountainous region of Punjab in the 18th century where the burgeoning epicentre of the Sikh kingdom was brimming with spirituality, art, and everyday life, set against the backdrop of the increasingly antagonistic imperial rule of the Mughals.
Join a panel of artists from the Sikh, Punjabi, and South Asian communities as they discuss the relationship of storytelling to their work. Leading up to this panel discussion, the creative team will spend three days together in a closed-door development workshop – a creative exploration of the early stages of this new show.
