In partnership with the Punjabi Market Collective, we are bringing dance, music, poetry, cuisine, family activities, and more to the streets of Vancouver's historic Punjabi Market for a FREE outdoor celebration!

Featuring Singers:

• Jugpreet Bajwa - classical, folk and rock singing sensation, who performs in several languages including English, French, Hindi and Punjabi

• Krystal Kiran - toured with AR Rahman, performed on Broadway and sings in several languages

• Robyn Sandhu - pop singer, poet, spoken word artist and YouTube star

• Varinder Vicky & Navreet Kaur - Sufi music

Dance Performances By:

• Coastal Wolf Pack  - traditional Salish song and dance

• Jolene Sloan - The Queen of Punjab serving up some drag glitz and glam

• Karima Essa - 3-time Canadian National Dance Champion and Vancouver's very own Bollywood Star

• Mortal Coil - imaginative theatre and spectacle

• Shan-E-Punjab Arts Club - Bhangra & Gidha folk dances

Poetry By:

• Balkaran - revolution, loss and healing, and the struggle for social justice

• Guntaj Deep Singh - fusing art and poetry

• Mohan Gill - much-published writer of powerful and prolific words of Punjabi poetry and prose

Internationally renowned, DJ Element will be spinning the latest tracks throughout the day!

There will be fun activities for kids and families, and delicious food truck options including High Class Food Truck (traditional North Indian food) and Namaste Food Lovers (Indo-Chinese fusion food). High Class Food Truck will also be serving free jalebis, an Indian sweet.
